Eagle Base Bowl

Introduced in the mid-1970's just before the Bicentennial and only available for a few years, the magnificent 15"D. #8283 Eagle Base Bowl is among the finest examples produced by Steuben Glass. The generous bowl rests upon the four heads of the Eagles atop the impressive four inch square sterling silver base. There are four small flat areas on the bottom of the bowl so the bowl is secure. Properly signed and in excellent condition. A true masterpiece and a stunning presentation!!

In 1986, Steuben Glass introduced a set of three Art Deco/Modern Vessels named the Momentum Collection. Only produced for a few years, the 7 1/4" #8540 Tall Momentum Vase/Bowl was the most popular form in the series. To express the force of circular motion, concentric paths trace the form of these innovative designs--capturing shining streams of light. Properly signed and in excellent condition.

Transportation Bowl/Sidney Waugh

In the early 1940's, Steuben Glass designers featured some extraordinarily superb Americana/Patriotic copper wheel engraved Exhibition Pieces. The 7 1/2" wide W141 Transportation Bowl by Sidney Waugh from 1943 is one such example. These museum quality masterworks rarely appear in the marketplace. The Transportation Bowl has three panels depicting a steamboat, early glider/plane and steam engine. This historically important piece is properly signed and in excellent condition.
